Every centimeter of new humus is pure climate protection. Whether on your balcony, in your shady backyard, or around the base of a tree in front of your house: you can start right away, anywhere. Did you know that a handful of healthy soil contains more organisms than there are people on our planet? Unfortunately, we often destroy this wonder completely systematically. Heavy machinery compacts the soil to the point of complete impermeability. The massive use of pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides poisons and depletes our precious landscapes. And when we repeatedly plow the soil deeply, we completely destroy the habitat of microorganisms. The fatal consequence is that enormous amounts of carbon dioxide escape into the atmosphere.
But we can reverse this process. Healthy soil binds unimaginable amounts of greenhouse gases. It acts like a gigantic sponge, storing water and cooling the earth.

For me, permaculture is the absolute key to change. You learn to see the world with completely new eyes. Instead of fighting against nature, you observe it calmly and learn from its ingenious mechanisms. In this way, you transform seemingly lifeless soils back into green oases. Imagine a forest garden where you cultivate a diverse range of plants in a very small space. Every element in your garden fulfills several functions simultaneously, and each function is supported by different elements.
A simple example illustrates this: A chicken doesn't just provide you with eggs. It loosens the soil, eats pests, and fertilizes the earth in a completely natural way. This is how you create intelligent cycles that benefit you and all of nature. Away with monotonous monocultures and hello to permanent permaculture systems!
