A global movement of transformers
PLAYtoGROW: Train-the-Trainer
At the heart of PLAYtoGROW is the vision of making permaculture a mass movement to ensure the success of regenerative transformation. To ensure that this change is decentralized and supported by local actors, we are developing the "PLAYtoGROW: Train-the-Trainer" program. The goal is to establish a global network.

Our Theory of Change
From knowledge to global change
This is how we want to initiate change with this program:
- The challenge: Permaculture is the golden path to regeneration. However, there is often a lack of motivating formats and trained multipliers who can ignite the spark on the ground.
- Our intervention: We develop an intensive, multi-day training program. It combines playful learning with Infinity Tools, practical "Permablitz" activities, and a hybrid support system to create a deep, application-oriented understanding.
- The direct result: The trained individuals leave the program with the necessary experience to lead transformation processes independently. An online network provides them with additional resources and a community for further exchange.
- The impact: The multipliers host their own PLAYtoGROW workshops in schools, companies, and communities. These events create further regenerative oases and empower more people to take action.
- The long-term transformation: A resilient, global network is emerging. Permaculture is no longer just taught, but lived, thus contributing to the regeneration of our ecosystems and communities on a broad scale.

Our training formats
Two models
To ensure sustainable and high-quality scaling, we are developing two successive formats:
Format 1: PLAYtoGROW facilitator
In this basic training, we teach all the skills needed to apply the PLAYtoGROW approach safely and inspiringly in groups. Participants learn to conduct our workshops independently and initiate regenerative projects in their local environments.
Format 2: PLAYtoGROW Trainer
This advanced format is aimed at experienced facilitators. Here, we share our knowledge of the training itself. Graduates of this program are able to independently train new PLAYtoGROW facilitators and thus actively expand the network.

The methodology
Building blocks for transformative experiences
Playful Permaculture Knowledge Transfer: We teach participants how to use the Infinity Tools to create an atmosphere of playful discovery. Instead of simply imparting facts, they learn how to use interactive methods to make the principles of permaculture directly tangible for others.
The "Permablitz": Each workshop includes "Permablitz" activities in which the group creates something lasting together. This experience of "working together" is crucial for demonstrating what is possible through collective action and gives future leaders the practical experience they need for their own projects.
Use of AI: With Maja & Mojo AI, we are building an artificial intelligence for permaculture that serves as a digital work system worldwide. It is designed to provide facilitators and trainers with reliable and context-appropriate (language, local conditions) support in planning and conducting workshops.
Cooperation and development
Helft uns und werdet Teil der Mission
The Train-the-Trainer program is an ambitious development project with the goal of global scaling. For this reason, we need your help. We are actively seeking foundations, educational institutions, and strategic partners who would like to work with us to bring this program to maturity and support the development of the global network.
Your support enables us to set the decisive course for this global movement. Every contribution goes directly into the development of the next building blocks:
-
Curriculum development: The development of a multi-day, intensive learning program that prepares people confidently and competently for their role as PLAYtoGROW facilitators.
- Adapting Maja & Mojo AI: Expanding our AI with content specifically for training – from moderation techniques to guiding complex group processes.
- Creation of trainer tools: The design and production of high-quality, physical teaching materials such as the PLAYtoGROW card sets and facilitator manuals.
- Building a global network: Creating the digital infrastructure to connect and support trained individuals and promote global exchange.
