Add pens
Comes off again with a barely damp cloth. The most convenient pen for Infinity Stonepaper. Other pens come off too, they just need more water and a little rubbing.
We carry pens as a companion to the stone paper, rather than as a range of their own.
How it works
Write. Move. Wipe.
Write on a Note with erasable pens. Dampen the back, press it to the pane, slide it where it belongs. Once the round is over, water dissolves the writing and the Note is free for the next one.
Twenty units
Order that can be moved around.
The smallest unit for a thought. Twenty Notes do not carry a list but a structure that can be moved around until the order is right: on the pane, on the table, in the model.
A bare window pane becomes a panorama: open, in progress, done. Whatever changes moves one column further.
Push single thoughts back and forth until connections appear that were invisible before. That works with twenty movable units, and hardly with a list.
Topics, names, dates. Whatever changes moves one row further, whatever is done gets wiped and carries the next item the next day.
Term on the front, answer on the back, or task on the front, status on the back. Whatever sits securely or is done gets wiped, and the stack visibly shrinks.
On Beenius sticks the Notes stand as signs in the landscape and name what has been built. After the workshop they go into a water bath and are free again.
On the train, in the park, in a café, at home on the kitchen wall. Twenty of them weigh nothing and are there the moment a thought needs to get out.

Stone instead of pulp, usable again and again. What the Notes are made of and what that means for handling them.
What you get
20 Notes measuring 12.75 × 9 cm, plus an envelope made of Stonepaper.
Composition
Two thirds limestone, a by-product of quarrying, one third HDPE, partly from recovered material.
450 g/m²
Sturdier than ordinary paper. Made in a dry process: no wood, no process water, no chlorine bleaching.
Waterproof and tear resistant
The surface does not absorb, the colour sits on top and can be taken off again. Grease and rain do not bother the Notes.
Assembly and shipping
Cutting, rounded corners, envelope and shipping are handled by the Christophorus Inklusionswerkstätten in Fürstenwalde, Germany.
When a Note has served its time
Most of the time it has not. If you do take a Note out of circulation, you can carry on using it: fold it, cut it, glue things onto it. The material works well for origami.

Frequently asked questions
Do the Notes stay on the wall without adhesive tape?Water and physics. On anything smooth.
Dampen the back, press it on. It works through adhesion, and that needs a smooth surface: windows, mirrors, whiteboards, metal cabinets, painted doors, tiles. On woodchip wallpaper, plaster or raw wood nothing holds. There, pins do the job, the material does not tear out.
What is the difference from the CARDS?Twenty small ones instead of ten large ones.
A Card is twice the size and carries a whole thought, in the hand and on the table. The twenty Notes are there to build structure: columns, clusters, an order that can be shifted around. Same material, different job. If you are writing, take the Cards. If you are ordering things, take the Notes.
How long does a Note stay up?A long time, and it can be moved at any point.
On a smooth, dry surface a Note does not come off by itself, so a layout on the pane can stay as it is. Peeling it off and pressing it on somewhere else works at any time. Once the water has fully evaporated, simply dampen the back again briefly.
Which pens work best?Thermosensitive ink or water-based felt tip.
Two groups come off again. Thermosensitive ink dissolves with very little water, a barely damp cloth is enough, and it writes fine. Water-based felt tip pens are stronger in colour and readable across the room, but they need water and some rubbing. Whiteboard markers and permanent pens stay for good.
Can I test my own pens beforehand?Yes, on the Stonepaper envelope.
The envelope the Notes come in is made of the same material. Try your pens on it and see how well they come off again. That way you know before you write on the Notes.
How are they cleaned?Water, and a drop of washing-up liquid if needed.
The surface does not absorb, so nothing soaks in. For everyday use a damp cloth is enough. For stubborn residue or grease, add a drop of washing-up liquid, then let it dry briefly.
Does the writing smudge when I stack the Notes?Let it dry briefly, then it holds.
Stonepaper does not absorb the ink, it sits on top. That is what makes the writing feel soft, but it means giving it a few seconds. After that the writing is smudge resistant enough for stacking, mixing and slipping into a pocket.
What does this save compared with sticky notes?Twenty that stay, instead of a pad that runs out.
A pad of sticky notes is used up after a few workshops. The twenty Notes stay, and you visualise things without already picturing the bin at the back of your mind. The material is made without wood, without process water and without chlorine bleaching, but the real saving lies in the use.
